The Braves scored with just over 5 minutes left in the 3rd period and held off a Navy Vets last minute onslaught to take the series opener 3-2 in an exciting hard-fought game at Southwood Arena on Monday afternoon !!!

The Vets jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the 1st period on 2 goals by the hero from the Norwich QF series Austin Sine ...

but the Braves fought back with 2 of their own in the 2nd period to set up the exciting 3rd period finish ...

Tavistock opened up a 2-0 lead in the 1st period before Kyle Walker scored for the Vets late in the period to go into the intermission down 2-1 ...

Tavistock scored the only goal in the 2nd period and took a 3-1 lead into the 3rd period ...
