Navy Vets captain Mackenzie Langford is heading to Nicaragua on a humanitarian mission.
We'd like to wish Mackenzie and the rest of his 13 church team members safe travel as they head down to Nicaragua on Monday. Mackenzie will be in Nicaragua for two weeks as the team spends time building into Nicaragua through childrens programs, construction, and other various projects.
If anyone is interested in all that goes on during the trip, you can check out the Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Nicaragua-Mission-of-Hope/553312451364438) for updates from the team.
If you are interested in donating to the Mission of Hope, you can email nicaraguamissionofhope@gmail.com. Tax receipts are issued for any donation.
Mackenzie is currently injured and has been unable to play the last few Vets games, including the league all-star game for which he was selected to play in last weekend in Paris.
This will be Mackenzie's 2nd trip to Nicaragua to help out the people in need down there, having been down there last year in February as well.
